The first hello

wp-image-2074940806Saying hi the very first time is always hard, because you never know who is in front of you (or behind the screen) and how she or he would react to your weirdness and crazyness. So long story short, some people call me crazy, some say I’m boring and others call me Margoogle, because apparently I know a lot. You can decide for yourself what to think, I will just give you some facts about me. I was born and raised in Klaipeda, Lithuania and I love that place for the seaside that we have. Thanks to my mum, who is from Belarus and my half lithuanian dad, I am bilingual – russian and lithuanian are my mother tongues. When I was about 8 years old I have started learning english and of course 18 years later still improving. Ever since I can remember I had a passion for languages, not for reading or writing but for understandig the language and how it works. Except for german, I always hated it and ironically after high school graduation I moved to Munich, Germany and had to learn it from a scratch. After seven years in Germany I do speak a descent german, but still don’t like it :). Well, I didn’t want to stop there and decided to study romance philology. So, now I’m fluent in russian, lithuanian, english and german, and learning spanish, italian and french. This is one of the reasons why some people call me crazy, they think I’m doing something impossible, although I think it’s really fun. The more languages the better. Another passion which is very close connected with the first one is travelling and getting to know different cultures. If I could I would travel the world, but I am a poor student for now and doing my best to see at least something around the corner. And I want to take you with me on this amazing journey.

∼ Maggie
